According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), a children’s crore of children need humanitarian aid, including boys and girls.

The number of children who depend on human aid, the country’s armed forces and the paramilitary force (RSF) were 78 Lakhs before the war began in 2023.

UNICEF says that violence against children against children has increased hunger and disease, and life is dispersed by displacement.

In the midst of all this, access to areas needed for human action and the availability of money has decreased, while the rainy season must also hit in May.

Call to increase support

Catherine Rasail, Executive Director of UNICEF, said: “It will be even more difficult with the arrival of the rainy season, reaching children who already suffer from malnutrition and disease.”

He urged the international community “does not allow this important action opportunity to go by hand and take the appropriate measures by moving forward with the sons of Sudan.”

Sudan is currently the largest human and child displacement crisis. This year, more than 3 million people need humanitarian assistance.

Desolated Young Life

Due to the war, a crore 24 Lakh of people have been forced to flee their homes in search of security and go to other places in Sudan or cross the border.

There are more than half of these children, approximately one third of children are under five years old.

According to UNICEF, due to limited access to unfortunate explosives and essential services, children will remain at risk.

Meanwhile, famine conditions are increasing, the disease vaccination rate that protects medications is decreasing and approximately 90 percent of children are out of school.

The situation is getting worse due to many other interactions. For example, the number of serious human rights violations against children has increased ten times, with murder and disabled; Kidnapping; The recruitment of welded children for war and their use in conflict; Rape and other types of sexual violence; Attack on schools and hospitals; And rejects human access.

Famine and diseases

According to the United Nations World Food Program (PMA), the famine has been confirmed in 10 places and there is a threat of famine in many other places. UNICEF has warned that some areas can be sensitive to flooding because the rainy season is close.

The agency recalled that between 2022 and 2024, about 60 percent of hospitals enrolled were victims of serious malnutrition due to the rainy season.

This means that if this trend continues, then this year up to 4 Lakh 62 thousand children, this year it can also be beaten by it.

There is also the possibility of increasing the outbreak of diseases. Last year, 49 thousand cholera were recorded and more than 11,000 cases of dengue Bukhar, which were mainly affected by mothers and children.

In the rainy season, the outbreak of diseases increases even more. The situation can become more serious due to reasons such as contaminated water, lack of cleaning and cleaning and migration of the population in other places during the rainy season.

Fear of lack of money

At the same time, due to the increase in war and bureaucratic restrictions or obstacles imposed by government officials or other armed groups, human reach to children in Sudan is decreasing.

Financial assistance for life savings services is also decreasing, because the necessary health, nutrition, education and security programs are in danger.

UNICEF has appealed to raise an amount of one billion dollars for its action in Sudan in 2025, which is equal to only 76 US dollars per person, or only 26 cents per day.

Catherine Rasail said: “Sudan is the largest humanitarian crisis, but the world is not paying attention.”

He said: “We cannot leave the children of Sudan alone. We have the ability to increase experience and support. But we need constant financial assistance and access to those in need.”

“The most important thing is that for the well -being of the children of Sudan, it is very important to put an end to this terrible conflict.”
