The rainwater entered the hospital
In Odisha, there has been a great loss of lives and properties due to ray with rain and hail storm. The non -seasonal rains damaged the crops and two people died due to a heavenly ray. The authorities said on Saturday that in the last 24 hours, at least two people died due to rain, thunderstorms and rays in different places in Odisha. Another 67 are injured and more than 600 houses have been damaged.
On Saturday, two people died due to lightning in the districts of Ganjam and Puri and 67 people were injured when Hailstorm in the Mayurbhanj district. He said that the condition of seven of them is critical and that he has been admitted to the Hospital of the headquarters of the Mayurbhanj district. A Ganjam district report states that many areas of the district received rain with thunderstorms and rays.
Student died at home
Due to non -seasonal rains, there was flooding in many areas of the city of Barahampur. A student of class 10 died after Saturday’s ray near Narayanpur in the Patrapur block of the Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Gaur (15). The authorities said he returned to his house in Bamkei, when he died in the place due to lightning. According to the Puri District report, Bolaj Kumar Nayak (23) died due to lightning in the Gobardhanpur village on Saturday. He went to the rice field to drain excess water caused by heavy rains with his parents. Around 600 houses were damaged due to hailstorm in the Mayurbhanj district.
Administration involved in rescue works
The Collector of the Hema Kant Sai district told journalists that the district administration has launched the aid and rehabilitation campaign in two most affected blocks of the Mayurbhanj and Bangaliposi blocks. Bisoi and Bangardiposi blocks have been seriously affected by hailstorm. 350 houses have been completely damaged, while another 250 housing units are partially affected. The district collector said that 18 villages under Bisoi and 39 villages of Bangagiposi Block have been affected. He said the Administration has launched a help and rehabilitation campaign in both blocks. He said that people whose houses have been destroyed receive polyethylene sheets, cooked and dry food according to the rules.
Minister said: Great loss
Odisha Urban Development Minister KC Mahapatra visited the Bisoi area on Saturday and said that “there is a great loss because many people have been destroyed in hail. The prime minister is aware of the incidents and people will be compensated in two days.” It has been in the last 36 hours in the last 36 hours, the storm has wreaked havoc.

During this period, it is likely that heavy rains (from 7 to 11 cm) and the storms fall into one or two places in the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.

The orange warning has been issued by the weather agency for all these districts in view of the expected climatic conditions. Similarly, in the next 24 hours, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonpur, Buddhist, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Raigadha, Koraput and Malkangiri the districts remain in one or two places in one or two places with strong winds with light in one or two places with a light wind.
