The DPI model of India appreciation

He also talked about the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) and said that for the development of AI, the data is the most important basis. The way in which the DPI of India makes data related to payment, simplified and accessible taxes and identity, can be useful to train AI techniques and prepare a solution for local problems.
He also clarified that through the “global digital compact” prepared by the United Nations, the support provided by the G20 countries such as India, Indonesia, Brazil and South Africa has now become part of the global policy for 193 member countries.


Together with the investment in DPI, it has also been said that it guarantees that this structure is not marginalized and the honor of human rights.
He said that areas like Africa have the opportunity to develop the digital economy quickly and carry interregional trade and digital entrepreneurship to new heights through integrated DPI.
Amandeep Singh Gill also emphasized that, instead of complex structures such as the European Union, simple but strong models centered on DPI can be adopted in global competition, adopting a strong model.
Increase in ‘DPI’ role
The permanent representative ambassador to the United Nations of India, P Harish, said that in recent decades, governments have emerged in a new role as a digital service provider. Until two years ago, the word Popular Digital Structure (DPI) was not common, but during the presidency of the G20 of India in 2023, a structure was prepared, which was accepted by all member countries.
He said: “After this, in September 2023, the United Nations launched the most impact initiative (‘High Impact Initiative’), with the aim of implementing DPI in 100 countries. According to the campaign ’50 -In 5 ‘, 50 countries will implement at least part of their DPI structure in the next 5 years.”
He said: “The DPI is actually a digital structure that is safe, shared and connected to each other, so that people can easily and private public services.”
He informed that the DPI trip of India began from a soil level, in which digital solutions have been prepared through Aadhaar, Upi, Jan-Dhan Yojana and mobile phones. The technical capacity of India, the large population, the institutional structure and the commitment of political leadership have played an important role in this whole process.
Indian ambassador to Harish said there have also been problems such as economic inequality, low labor productivity, the greatest employment in the informal sector and limited access to financial services in India. DPI has prepared a base to solve these problems.
In addition to this, artificial intelligence (AI) is also increasing the power of the DPI collector. AI in agriculture has trained 20 Crore farmers for crop monitoring, pest control, water management, crop cycle, access to the market and the benefits of government assistance.
18 billion UPI transactions every month
The Minister of State in the Government of India, Jitin Prasad said in the seminar that India began the ‘Digital India’ campaign in 2014, whose objective is to turn the country into a digitally strong society and an economy based on knowledge. Under this campaign, the basis of digital public infrastructure (structure) was established, that is, DPI, which made the government, services and empowerment possible by keeping common citizens in the center.
He informed that the digital forums of open sources such as Aadhaar, Jan Dhan Yojana, Upi, Digilocker, Ko-Cin, ABHA and ONDC have changed the definition of distribution of services in India.
Jitin Prasad said that UPI is now doing 18 billion transactions every month, and K-Vin caused the world’s largest vaccination campaign to be digitally successful. New platforms such as ABHA and ONDC are now giving a new direction to digital health and decentralized electronic commerce.
He said: “This DPI of India is now creating a global identity. More than 18 countries are in the process of adopting or adopting it. It also has a special place in the G20 agenda.
